AP TET final answer key 2024 out at aptet.apcfss.in; results on November 2

NEW DELHI: Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education has issued the AP Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET 2024) final answer key for candidates who appeared in the exam held between October 3 to 20. The AP TET final answer key download link has been hosted on the official website, aptet.apcfss.in.

As per the schedule, the APTET results 2024 will be declared on November 2. Those who qualify the exam will be eligible for teachers recruitment for Classes 1 to 8 in the state. The APTET exam was held for four papers - paper 1A for classes 1 to 5, paper 1B for classes 1 to 5 for special education teachers, paper 2A for classes 6 to 8, and paper 2B for classes 6 to 8 for special education teachers.

As per the passing criteria, open category candidates who obtain 60% marks and above, backward caste (BC) candidates who secure 50% marks and above, and SC, ST, differently-abled (PH) and ex-servicemen with 40% marks and above will be declared qualified.

A 20% weightage will be given to APTET scores in the Andhra Pradesh teacher recruitment and balance 80% weightage will be given for written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) based on which selection lists will be prepared. However, qualifying in the exam “would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/ employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for Teacher appointment”.

APTET-qualified candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam again to improve their score as there is no restriction in the number of attempts.
