BPSC TRE 4 vacancies to be submitted within five days, says Education Minister; notification soon

BPSC TRE 4 Notification 2025: The education minister said most districts have already sent vacancy details, clearing the way for the commission to begin recruitment.
Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will receive the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4) vacancies within the next five days. Education Minister Sunil Kumar confirmed this during a press conference. He said that vacancy details from almost all districts have been received for the BPSC TRE 4 recruitment.
According to the Times of India, the education minister stated that once the vacancies are submitted, BPSC will manage the entire recruitment process, from application screening to final selection.
The minister emphasised transparency and efficiency in the recruitment process. He further added that submitting the vacancies to BPSC within five days is a critical step to initiate the selection of eligible candidates.
According to NDTV, the Bihar TRE-4 is expected to be held from December 16 to December 19, 2025. The results for the TRE-4 can be announced between January 20 and January 24, 2026. The total number of vacancies for TRE-4 is estimated to be between 26,000 and 27,000.
Bihar STET 2025 results by November 16
Recently, thousands of Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025, aspirants protested in Patna , demanding that the STET to be conducted before TRE-4. Aspirants argued that the delay in STET prevents many candidates from qualifying for government teaching posts. Police managed the crowds during marches at Patna College, Gandhi Maidan, and Dak Bungalow Crossin.
While talking about the Bihar STET 2025 exam , the minister said that the last date to apply is September 27. The Bihar STET exam 2025 will be held between October 12 and October 31 and the results are expected to be announced by November 16, 2025.
Regarding the teacher transfer process, the minister stated that 41,689 teachers had applied as of September 13. Of these, 24,600 were transferred to one of their three preferred districts. Around 17,000 teachers who did not secure transfers will get a second chance to choose districts on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal from September 23 to September 28.
