Chandigarh NEET PG Counselling 2025: Registration begins for 79 MD, MS seats

Government Medical College, Chandigarh has announced the schedule for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling for admissions to three-year PG courses including MD, MS. Accordingly, aspirants can register and submit documents for Chandigarh NEET PG counselling 2025 by November 10, up to 5 pm. Candidates can apply on the official website – gmch.gov.in.

79 MD, MS seats including four EWS quota seats are being offered under the state quota. Academic classes will begin from December 8.

As per Chandigarh NEET PG counselling schedule 2025, the list of candidates with deficiency in documents will be displayed between November 11 and 12. Such students will have to submit their pending certificates on November 13. Following this, the list of eligible candidates for seat allotment will be published on November 15.

In order to apply, candidates belonging to general, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000. Scheduled Caste (SC), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), third gender applicants will be required to submit Rs 1,000.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates should have completed compulsory rotatory internship satisfactorily by July 31, 2025.

Candidates will be required to upload the following documents:

  • Passport size photograph
  • Matriculation certificate showing the date of birth
  • Detailed marksheet for MBBS final part-2 professional examinations
  • Internship completion certificate
  • NMC or state medical council registration certificate
  • NEET PG 2025 result scorecard
  • Candidates belonging to UT Chandigarh pool should submit relevant certificates as per clause PG-4B from competent authority to establish eligibility.
  • Notarized affidavit regarding “not opted and claimed” residence of state/UT other than UT Chandigarh, if applicable.
  • Scheduled castes certificate and OBC certificate issued by competent authority from UT Chandigarh as per format enclosed at Appendix-I and Appendix-II, if applicable
  • PwBD certificate from NMC notified centre, if applicable
  • Copy of OCI card, if applicable
  • Candidates in employment of government, semi government, autonomous bodies, corporation must submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from his or her employer.
  • Character and conduct certificate from the institution last attended
  • Migration certificate, if available
  • Any other document as applicable
