The exam will be conducted for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating law colleges. CLAT 2025 admit card will be issued on consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

CLAT exam 2025 will be held for a duration of two hours. The exam timings will be 2 pm to 4 pm. The question paper will comprise multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying a maximum of 120 marks. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore, which ranked as the top law university in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024, will admit students to its LLB and LLM programmes through the law entrance exam.
CLAT toppers last year chose and secured a seat in NLSIU Bangalore during the counselling process. Candidates having All India Rank (AIR) 1, 2, and 3 were allotted a seat in the university. Aspirants can check the cut-offs and closing ranks of the UG, PG programmes at the university to prepare accordingly.
