The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the exam city intimation slip for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) - University Grants Commission -National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET 2025). The NTA CSIR UGC NET city slip 2025 download link has been hosted on the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.

This year, the NTA will conduct the joint CSIR UGC NET 2025 in a single day for five subjects - mathematical sciences; earth, atmospheric, ocean and planetary sciences; chemical sciences; life sciences; and physical sciences. The CSIR UGC NET exam date 2025 is July 28.

The national-level exam will be held as a computer-based test (CBT) for determining for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor, admission to PhD.

The CSIR UGC NET city slip is different from the admit card. The city intimation slip is issued to inform candidates about the location where their exam centre is likely to be allotted. The CSIR UGC NET admit card 2025, on the other hand, will have details on candidate’s name, exam, shift timings, and address of venue.
