NTA extends CSIR NET December 2025 registration last date till October 27

CSIR UGC NET 2025: Candidates can fill the application forms on the official website, csrinet.nta.nic.in.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for submission of online applications for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) 2025 till October 27. Eligible aspirants who have not applied yet can fill the CSIR NET December 2025 application form on the official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in.
The December session of CSIR UGC NET 2025 will be conducted on December 18 for awarding of the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), hiring of assistant professors, and admissions to PhD programmes in Indian universities and colleges.
“In response to the multiple requests received from the candidates to extend the last date for submission of online application form, NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination,” NTA said in an official notification.

CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam will be conducted for five test papers – chemical sciences, earth, atmospheric, ocean and planetary sciences, life sciences, mathematical sciences, and physical sciences.
The computer-based test will be held for a duration of three hours. Each paper will be held in two shifts - the morning shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and the afternoon shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
