CUET UG Result Date 2025: When will NTA declare results for undergraduate admissions? Past years’ trends

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG) result 2025 soon for around 13.5 lakh candidates on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA CUET UG 2025 was held from May 13 to June 4 as a computer-based test (CBT) for 37 subjects. The testing agency held a re-test for accountancy paper between June 2 and June 4 after revising the CUET UG 2025 exam pattern for the subject. Tamil and Urdu language exams were also rescheduled for June 4. Moreover, the exam was cancelled at a Srinagar centre and conducted again on a later date.

The testing agency issued the CUET UG answer key 2025 along with the CUET UG response sheet 2025 on June 17. Candidates were given an opportunity to raise objections against the provisional answers by June 20. The subject experts will examine and verify the challenges made by the students and release the CUET UG 2025 final answer key with revisions, if any. CUET UG 2025 result will be prepared and declared based on the final answer key.

As per the CUET UG 2025 marking scheme, each correct answer will fetch five marks and there will be negative marking of one mark for every incorrect response. The CUET UG question paper 2025 comprised 50 questions and examinees were given one hour to mark the answers.

CUET exam was introduced in 2022 as a common eligibility test for admission to UG programmes offered by central, state, deemed, and private universities. Prior to that, the seats were given based on Class 12 scores.
