Download NowThe University of Delhi (DU) will admit students to undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2025–26 based on the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 score. The cut-offs will be based on subject-wise performance in the entrance test, with high-scoring subjects like English, economics, political science and accountancy likely to have higher cut-offs.
The National Testing Agency is expected to declare CUET UG 2025 results by the end of June. Delhi University opened its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal on July 17. DU will release simulated ranks after preferences are submitted. Candidates can then change choices before the first merit list, expected in the third week of July.
The CSAS UG registration includes three phases. In Phase 1, candidates apply to the University of Delhi and submit their CUET UG 2025 scores. Phase 2 involves selecting preferred programmes and colleges. In Phase 3, seats are allotted based on merit, preferences and availability, followed by admission.
As per previous years’ trends, DU cut-offs for programmes like BCom, BA (Hons) English and BA (Hons) Political Science are expected to be near the 99 or 100 percentiles in the general category. Admissions to courses like BBA Financial Investment Analysis and BA (Hons) Business Economics will depend on scores in the quantitative and general test sections.
