HPCET 2026 admit card out at himtu.ac.in; exam on May 10

The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU) has released the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2026 admit card today, May 5, 2026. Applicants can download their HPCET 2026 hall ticket from the official website of HIMTU at himtu.ac.in. To access the admit card, candidates have to enter the details, including application number and date of birth.

Candidates are required to carry their HPCET 2026 admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre. The hall ticket will also be needed during the counselling process. The HPCET entrance test is set to take place on May 10, 2026.

The HPCET 2026 admit card will contain key information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, and signature, along with details of the examination including the date, time, and address of the exam centre. It will also mention the programme for which the candidate has applied.

HPCET 2026 admit card: Steps to download

To access the HPCET 2026 hall ticket, candidates need to follow the steps given below:

  • Visit the official website of HIMTU at himtu.ac.in
  • On the homepage, click on the HPCET admit card 2026 download link
  • Enter the details, including application number/ date of birth & then select the programme and then click on ‘find admit card’
  • The HPCET 2026 admit card will appear on the screen
  • Download the HPCET 2026 hall ticket and take a print out for further reference

HPCET 2026: Exam pattern

The HPCET 2026 exam will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode and will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in English. For BTech and BPharmacy courses, the paper will include 150 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology, carrying a total of 600 marks, and candidates will be given 3 hours 15 minutes to complete it. Each subject is divided into sections, with a mix of compulsory and optional questions to attempt.

For other programmes like MCA and MBA, around 100 questions covering areas like verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and general awareness. The exam should be completed in 2 hours.
