IIT JAM 2026 application correction window open at jam2026.iitb.ac.in; edit details by November 10

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has opened the Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) 2026 application correction window today, October 31. Candidates who applied for the exam can edit their details in the IIT JAM 2026 application form through the official website, jam2026.iitb.ac.in.

Candidates who have entered incorrect information in the category, gender, examination city, or date of birth (DoB) fields will be allowed to make corrections in their IIT JAM 2026 application form. The last date to edit the IIT JAM 2026 application form is November 10.

To edit their details in the IIT JAM 2026 application form, candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 300 for each change. Candidates can also add test paper or modify the test paper(s) in their previously submitted IIT JAM 2026 application form by paying an additional fee of Rs 300.

“Candidates can add an ADDITIONAL TEST PAPER or can CHANGE THE TEST PAPER(S) in the previously submitted application form available at https://jam2026.iitb.ac.in with an additional fee of Rs 300 before November 10, 2025,” the official notice said.

How to edit IIT JAM 2026 application form?

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the IIT JAM 2026 application form.

• Visit the official website at jam2026.iitb.ac.in and log in.
• Click on the application correction link.
• Correct details in category, gender, examination city, or date of birth (DoB).
• Add or change test paper(s) if required.
• Submit the updated application.

The IIT JAM 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on February 15, 2026. The IIT JAM 2026 admit cards will be available for download from January 5, 2026. Candidates will be required to appear at their respective examination centres as mentioned on the admit card.

The results of IIT JAM 2026 will be announced on March 20, 2026. The exam is conducted for candidates seeking admission to around 3,000 seats across different postgraduate programmes, including Master of Science (MSc), Joint MSc-PhD, and other postgraduate courses offered at various (IITs). The JAM scores will be applicable for admission to 89 programmes offered across 22 IITs for the academic year 2026–27.
