Download EBookThe National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the registration for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026. Eligible aspirants can apply for the engineering and architecture entrance exam online on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to complete the JEE Mains 2026 registration is November 27. The fee payment can be done till 11:50 pm.
As per the JEE Main 2026 eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam in the last three years are eligible to apply for the entrance exam. JEE Main exam date 2026
Along with the JEE Main 2026 registration date, NTA has announced the JEE Main exam date 2026. The exam will comprise two papers – paper 1 for BE, BTech and paper 2 for BArch, BPlanning. The test will be administered in 13 languages. As per the JEE Main 2026 exam timings, the exam will be held in two shifts – shift 1 from 9 am to 12 noon and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. Last year, NTA removed optional questions from section B of paper 1 and 2.
How to apply for JEE Main 2026?
Here are simple steps to fill the JEE Main 2026 application form:
- Go to the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link for registration under the candidate activity board
- Now, register and login with your credentials
- Fill the application form and make the fee payment
- Choose other options and preview the information
- Submit the details and download the form
- Take a print out of the confirmation page for future reference
Recently, NTA activated the demo link for JEE Main 2026 registration. Previously, the testing agency advised candidates to update their Aadhaar Card, UDID card (if any), and category certificate ahead of the registration process.
