MHT CET 2025 syllabus out for engineering, pharmacy; 20:80 weightage to Class 11, 12

NEW DELHI: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced the MHT CET syllabus along with exam pattern and marking scheme for the upcoming academic year 2025-26 for engineering and technology, pharmacy, BPlanning, and master courses. The MHT CET question paper 2025 will be based on the syllabus of State Council of Educational Research and Training, Maharashtra and the difficulty-level will be equivalent to Joint Entrance Examination Main ( JEE Main 2025 ). The officials have uploaded subject-wise syllabus and exam pattern details on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
As per the MHT CET engineering syllabus 2025, around 20% weightage to Class 11 curriculum and the remaining 80% weightage to Class 12 syllabus will be given while preparing the question paper.
“There will be no negative marking, however difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET. The questions will be mainly application based,” the CET Cell said.
MHT CET 2025 question paper
MHT-CET question paper will consist of three sections of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and each paper carries 100 marks.

The state educational board has prescribed the whole syllabus of Class 12 of physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. The Class 11 syllabus for the engineering entrance exam is given below.
