NEET 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 provisional answer key on its official website, neet.nta.ac.in. However, the scanned OMR sheet and the facility to object to NEET 2026 provisional answer keys will be available soon. This is the first time NTA has published the NEET provisional answer key 2026 so early, within three days after the exam was held. As per past year trends, usually the answer keys are published along with the response sheet and a facility to challenge within 28-45 days.
The NEET 2026 provisional answer keys are published, and students can calculate their expected scores using the NEET UG marking scheme and predict their All India Ranks (AIR) for admissions to top medical colleges across the country.
NTA conducted the NEET UG 2026 exam on May 3 from 2 pm to 5 pm for around 22.79 lakh MBBS and BDS aspirants.
The agency has released the NEET UG 2026 answer key, and candidates can download it from the official website. Applicants can also object within the given time. Once the objection window closes, the agency will declare the NEET UG 2026 result.

NEET UG 2026 will have two distinct cut-off categories: the qualifying cut-off and the admission cut-off. The qualifying cut-off refers to the minimum score required to clear the exam, but securing this score alone does not ensure a seat in any medical college.
The admission cut-off represents the closing rank or score at which a candidate is allotted a seat. Unlike the qualifying threshold, meeting the admission cut-off indicates that the candidate has secured admission to a programme.
