OSSSC recruitment exam result declared for 6,862 JA, PEO posts

NEW DELHI: The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has declared the result of the combined recruitment exam (CRE) 2023 conducted to recruit Junior Assistant (JA), Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) in the department. Candidates who appeared in the OSSSC recruitment exam 2023 can download the result through the official website, osssc.gov.in.
Candidates are required to use their login credentials such as user ID and password to download the OSSSC CRE 2023 result. As per the official notice, the OSSSC CRE 2023 result will remain accessible for the candidates on the portal for a duration of 60 days only.
The OSSSC recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 6,862, of which 4,565 vacancies are reserved for the post of Panchayat executive officer and 2,297 for junior assistant posts.
The selection of candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category is provisional and is subject to re-verification and clearance by the appellate authority, the official notice read.
The candidates are selected based on their marks in the written exam, followed by a document verification process and a practical test. The commission conducted the qualifying written exam on July 9 in various districts of Odisha. Following this, the practical skill test in basic computer skills took place on October 6, 2023, in the respective districts.
