UGC NET Result June 2024 Live: NTA results soon at ugcnet.nta.ac.in; eligibility, marking scheme

Candidates belonging to the reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) are required to score 35% in both papers to pass the UGC NET 2024 June exam.

According to the National Testing Agency (NTA)'s weeding out rules, the records of the UGC NET 2024 result will be retained for up to 90 days from the date of declaration.

An X user, AK Bahauddin Choudhury (@Akbahauddin97), voiced his frustration over the delay in the UGC NET 2024 results, expressing concern over the one-month wait. He tagged relevant authorities, including NTA and UGC, urging them to declare the results. He posted, ""Students are frustrated with the delayed #ugcnetresult. One month and still waiting! ? @NTA_Exams @mamidala90 @ugc_india Please release the #ugcnet result. #UGCNETResult2024."

Candidates can follow these steps to download the UGC NET 2024 result:

• Go to the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
• On the homepage, click the "UGC NET June 2024 Result" link.
• A new window will appear; enter your application number, date of birth, and the provided security code.
• Click the "Submit" button to view your result on the screen.
• Download and save the result for future reference.

The dates and time of UGC NET 2024 results are not yet updated by the NTA. The results will be soon out on UGC NET's official website.

The UGC NET answer key 2024 challenge window closed on September 14, 2024 (extended date) for the exams conducted between August 27 to September 5 at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The UGC NET 2024 exam, initially scheduled for June, was canceled due to concerns over the exam's integrity.

• 10% of the seats for general-economically weaker sections (general-EWS) candidates

As per UGC NET June 2024 marking scheme, each question carries two marks. Candidates who attempt the question and answer correctly will be given two marks for each question. There is no negative marking for incorrect responses. No marks will be provided for questions left unanswered or left for review.
