WBCS Prelims result 2024 declared at psc.wb.gov.in; 4,960 candidates qualify for mains

NEW DELHI : The Public Service Commission, West Bengal has declared the West Bengal Civil Services (WBCS) Prelims result 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check WBCS Preliminary result by visiting the official website, psc.wb.gov.in. A total of 4,960 candidates have been qualified for the final exams.
The result PDF contains the roll numbers of provisionally qualified candidates along with the WBCS cut-off 2024. Candidates who cleared the preliminary examination will be allowed to appear for the West Bengal Civil Services Mains exam 2024.
WBCS Prelims answer key was issued in December last year and candidates were able to raise objections by January 5. The preliminary exam was conducted on December 16 last year in a single shift. The duration of the exam was 2.5 hours and the exam was held from 12 noon to 2:30 pm.

Students can follow the steps given below to download WBCS result:
- Go to the official website, pcs.wb.gov.in
- Click on the ‘announcement’ tab
- Now, click on the link ‘roll numbers of 4960 candidates who have been qualified provisionally..’
- A PDF will be displayed on the screen
- Check your roll number and save the pdf
