WBJEEB JELET, JECA 2025 schedule out on wbjeeb.nic.in; registration from September 9

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has issued the official schedules for the JELET 2025 and the JECA 2025. Candidates aspiring to secure admissions in undergraduate engineering programmes through lateral entry or MCA programmes in West Bengal colleges can apply for the entrance exams through the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.

As per the official schedule, the registration window for the Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2025 will open on September 9. The last date to complete the JELET 2025 application process and make the fee payment is September 17.

Candidates who want to appear for the Joint Entrance for Admission to MCA (JECA) 2025 exam can fill out the application form between September 10 and September 17. Candidates can make corrections to their JELET and JECA 2025 applications and download revised confirmation pages between September 19 and September 20, 2025.

WBJEEB JELET, JECA 2025: Application fee

Male candidates from the general category are required to pay Rs 500 to register for JELET 2025, while female and third-gender candidates are required to pay Rs 400 and Rs 300, respectively.

For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backwards Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, the JELET 2025 fee is Rs 400 for males, Rs 300 for females, and Rs 200 for third-gender candidates.

The application fee for JECA 2025 is Rs 500 for general category candidates. Candidates belonging to the third gender, SC, ST, OBC-Category-A, or OBC-Category-B will have to pay Rs 400.

WBJEEB JELET, JECA exam date 2025

The WBJEEB will conduct the JELET 2025 exam on October 18, while the JECA 2025 exam will be held on October 19. Both exams will be conducted in a single shift from 11 am to 1 pm.

JELET 2025 exam is conducted for diploma holders or BSc graduates seeking direct admission into the second year (third semester) of Bachelor of Technology (BTech) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programmes in West Bengal.

The JECA 2025 exam is conducted for candidates aiming to join Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programmes in West Bengal colleges. Eligible candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in computer applications, science, or related fields.
