AIIMS INI SS January 2026 round 1 seat allotment results out for MD, MCh; report by January 6

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has declared the round 1 seat allotment results for the Institute of National Importance - Super Speciality (INI SS) January 2026 today. Candidates can download the allotment results through the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in.

Those allotted DM and MCh seats must accept their allotment and report to the allotted institute from December 30 to January 6 up to 6 pm.

The AIIMS INI SS January 2026 round 1 seat allotment results are announced for admission to medical courses at AIIMS Delhi, other AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, NIMHANS, and SCTIMST.

The computer-based college entrance test was conducted for admission to DM, MCh admissions on November 22, 2025.

Notably, all qualified candidates have to participate in an online institute allocation process as per two merit lists such as AIIMS Merit List (AML) and Common Merit List (CML).

The AML includes candidates who are eligible for seats at all AIIMS, and PGIMER, Chandigarh, while the CML includes those eligible for JIPMER, Puducherry, NIMHANS, Bengaluru and SCTIMST, Trivandrum.

The AIIMS INI SS January 2026 round 1 seat allotment results have been made on the basis of choices submitted by the candidates during the choice filling and locking process.

AIIMS INI SS January 2026: Eligibility for round 2

Candidates who have been allocated colleges in round 1 and aiming to select the given option for subsequent rounds are eligible for the round 2 of online institute allocation, the official notice reads.

“All the candidates who were considered in the 1st round but have not been allocated any Institute will automatically be eligible for the next round,” it added.

While all candidates who were eligible for the round 1 of institute allocation but did not register or fill choices (NR/NP in this notification) shall not be considered eligible for round 2 of institute allocation but will be eligible for open round of Institute Allocation (if any), the notification reads.

Notably, participation in the AIIMS INI SS January 2026 round 1 is compulsory to be eligible for the round 2 of online institute allocation.

INI SS January 2026: Documents required for reporting

Here is the list of documents required for candidates to present while reporting at the allotted medical institute for verification.

  • Offer letter
  • Institute allocation letter
  • Final registration slip.
  • Admit card issued by AIIMS.
  • 10th passing/ birth certificate showing his/her date of birth.
  • MBBS degree & all years’ mark sheet.
  • MD/MS degree/provisional pass certificate.
  • OBC/SC/ST/EWS or Ex-Serviceman certificate if you have taken any age relaxation.
  • Medical Council Registration.
