Azim Premji Scholarship 2025 registration ends tomorrow; Rs 30,000 annual support for girl students

The Azim Premji Foundation will end the registration process for phase 1 of the Azim Premji Scholarship 2025 tomorrow, September 30. The scholarship is aimed at girl students from economically disadvantaged families who have studied in government schools.
Recipients of the scholarship receive Rs 30,000 annually, credited directly to their bank account, for the entire duration of their first-time undergraduate or diploma course. Eligible girl students can apply Azim Premji scholarship 2025 through the official website at azimpremjifoundation.org.
According to the Azim Premji Foundation, the scholarship programme will be implemented across 18 states in India. The application process for the second phase of the Azim Premji Scholarship 2025 programme is scheduled to begin from January 10 to January 30, 2026.
Eligibility criteria for Azim Premji scholarship 2025
Students should meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Azim Premji Scholarship 2025.
- Students should have passed both Class 10 and Class 12 as regular students from a government school or college in any of the eligible states or Union Territories.
- Students should have secured admission in the first year of a recognised undergraduate degree or diploma course (2 to 5 years duration) for the academic session 2025–26 at a government or credible private college or university anywhere in India.
Azim Premji Scholarship 2025: Documents required
During the registration process for the Azim Premji scholarship 2025, students will have to upload the following documents.
- Recent passport-sized photograph (2x2 inch taken in the last 6 months)
- Clear image of the candidate’s signature on plain white paper
- Aadhaar card
- Bank account details
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Proof of college admission, such as a bona fide certificate or tuition fee receipt
