The initiative will feature student interactions, testimonials and conversations in CBSE’s digital outreach. Schools will have to submit nominations with parental consent by the deadline.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited affiliated schools to nominate students for participation in its podcasts and social media initiatives. The move is aimed at including student voices in the board’s ongoing digital content and podcast series on academic and counselling matters.
According to the circular, the board has already begun producing in-house podcasts and digital content, which are being uploaded to public platforms such as YouTube. To make the initiatives more student-centric, CBSE plans to feature students through short video or audio interactions, testimonials, and conversations.
Affiliated schools have been asked to nominate students from Classes 9 to 12 who want to participate. The circular states that participation will be voluntary and will require written consent from both the students and their parents or guardians, which is to be obtained and forwarded by the school.

“The CBSE-affiliated schools are therefore requested to nominate students (from Classes IX–XII) who are articulate, confident, and interested in participating/ appearing in social media content/ podcasts of CBSE. The participation is completely voluntary and based on written consent of the student and their parents/guardians through the school concerned,” the official notice said.
Schools that wish to participate have been directed to share the names and brief profiles of nominated students with CBSE through the Google form available on the official circular. Schools must submit the nominations by September 7, 2025, which is 10 days from the date of issue of the circular.
CBSE has reiterated that the initiative is optional and is intended to provide an additional platform for students to express themselves and contribute to the board’s communication and awareness programmes.
