ICAI postpones CA Inter January 2026 auditing and ethics paper

CA Intermediate January 2026: The exam has been deferred across India and abroad due to “unavoidable circumstances” and a revised date will be announced soon.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the Chartered Accountants’ (CA) Intermediate Examination January 2026 Auditing and Ethics paper, which was scheduled to be held on January 19, across India and abroad. ICAI will soon announce the new exam date on the official website, icai.org

In an official ICAI announcement, the institute said the exam has been deferred “due to certain unavoidable circumstances” adding that the revised date will be announced in due course.
ICAI clarified that all other CA Intermediate examination 2026 papers will be conducted as per the existing timetable, with no changes in the schedule except for Paper 5.

ICAI CA May 2026 foundation, inter, final exam
The application forms for ICAI CA May 2026 foundation examination are currently open till March 16 without any late fee.
Candidates can modify their exam city and medium during ICAI’s CA May 2026 application correction window, which will be open from March 20 to March 22.
