IIM Indore MBA Admission 2026: PI shortlist in January; CAT cut-offs, selection process

The personal interview (PI) has the highest weightage of 45% in the final selection for MBA admissions at IIM Indore.

The institute will adopt a three-stage selection process – eligibility criteria, shortlist for personal interview, and final selection – which will evaluate the applicant’s previous academic performance, CAT score, as well as diversity factor to prepare the final merit list for IIM Indore MBA admission 2026 .
IIM Indore CAT cut-off 2026
Only those candidates who have obtained the minimum sectional and overall CAT cut-off will be shortlisted for the personal interview. Candidates can check the IIM Indore CAT cut-offs for all categories below:

IIM Indore MBA Admission: Interview round
To apply for the IIM Indore MBA personal interview round , candidates will have to register using their 8-digit CAT registration number, email address or date of birth on the login link at iimidr.ac.in.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview dates in January 2026, the institute said, adding that the PI will be conducted in both offline and online modes. Offline interview rounds will be held in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
Candidates must attend the personal interview, failing with results for the next stage of the selection process will not be declared.
“IIM Indore also expects consistent and minimum performance in the various parameters of the Personal Interview (PI), which will be determined by the Admissions Committee. Candidates not meeting the minimum performance in any of the PI parameters will not be considered for the next stage of the selection process,” it said.
IIM Indore final selection
In stage-3, a category-wise merit list will be generated based on the Final Composite Score (FCS) and admissions will be offered on the basis of merit.
