AIIMS INI SS January 2026 counselling schedule out; round 1 institute allocation on December 29

INI SS January 2026 Counselling: The choice submission window for round 1 is open till December 26. Only candidates scoring at least 50 per cent in the INI-SS exam are eligible.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has issued the counselling schedule for the Institute of National Importance- Super Speciality (INI-SS) January 2026 session for admission to Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) courses. As per the official schedule, the INI-SS 2025 round 1 institute allocation result will be announced on December 29.
The choices filling window for INI-SS round 1 is open on the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates can exercise their choices for Institutes against applied subjects or specialities till December 26, 2025, up to 5 pm. Only candidates scoring at least 50 per cent in the INI-SS exam will be eligible to submit their choices.
“The link for the portal will be activated only for eligible candidates on “My Page” accessible by logging in using the credentials that have been used for filling completion of application form and other processes related to INI SS for admission to DM/M.Ch. courses for January 2026 session in www.aiimsexams.ac.in,” the official notice said.
The AIIMS New Delhi is conducting INI-SS counselling 2025 in two rounds. The second round of online Institute allocation will be announced on January 20, 2026.
Institute allocation will follow merit order among candidates registered within the specified dates. Candidates cannot edit or reorder choices after the first-round choice submission deadline, and the second-round allocation will follow the choices submitted in the first round.
