JEECUP 2023 exam postponed to August first week; admit card soon at jeecup.admissions.nic.in

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic) has postponed the Joint Entrance Examination, UP (UPJEE 2023) exams for admission in the government and private polytechnic colleges to the first week of August. The JEECUP admit card 2023 release date will be announced soon at the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted from July 26 to August 1. However, JEECUP took to Twitter to inform candidates that “Tentative exam dates for online CBT entrance examination UPJEE(P)-2023 is 1st week of August”.
The JEECUP admit card 2023 was scheduled to be issued on or before July 16. However, it got delayed as well. The council did not state any reason for the delay in issuing admit card or postponement of exams.
The official announcement regarding the change in exam date is yet to be notified on the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
The exam will be conducted in online mode for a duration of 2 and half hours. The UP Polytechnic question paper will have 100 multiple choice questions carrying 400 marks in total. Candidates must note that the medium of the question paper will be in English and Hindi.
As per the marking scheme, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for incorrect response.
