NEW DELHI: Nearly 40 days after the NEET PG counselling registration began, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is yet to upload the NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule on the official website, mcc.nic.in. As per the computer-generated date, the next NEET PG Supreme Court hearing is scheduled to take place on November 19. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) was conducted on August 11 after postponing several times. The NEET PG results 2024 was declared on August 23 for a total of 2,16,094 candidates who appeared in the exam.
However, due to increase in marks of top scorers and unexpected low marks for second shift candidates stoked suspicion, eventually leading to 19 aspirants filing a petition against the NBEMS demanding to make answer key and raw marks public.

Aspirants vent frustration on X
“From March to November: The NEET PG 2024 exam on August 11th, and now, 4 rounds of 'counseling case hearings'—1st hearing: Sept 27, 2nd: Oct 4, 3rd: Oct 25, 4th: Nov 19. Nearly a year wasted. Does India really value its doctors?” an aspirant tweeted on X. Another called the delay in NEET PG counselling 'a recipe of disaster'.
Candidates have also started trolling and sharing memes on the delay in NEET PG counselling. “Guys, match fixing chal rahi hai NBE ki taraf se. Tabhi itna time lag raha hai counselling main. Kya lagta hai?” “Ye kya mazak ho Raha hai humare saath?”
“Can't put into words that how this journey of neetpg is mentally exhausting and not getting even job and it's literally hard for someone who is workholic and it's literally depressing,” another aspirant wrote.
Frustrated with repeated misinformation on the exam, a user on X wrote: “How to earn money using Twitter/X. 1. Get verified to get a Blue tick. 2. Post baseless things without proof and talk about NEET PG exam & counselling. 3. Say you get “inside information” about everything from a “very reliable source”. 4. Use #NeetPg2024 #INICET #AIIMS.”
"Sir pls enquire who was that incompetent authority to introduce normalisation n idea of conducting NEETPG in 2 shifts. Who is accountable for irrevocable damages done to aspirants/parents. Haven't seen idiots who yr-on-yr creates new twist/challenges to make life stressful," a X user wrote.
