The NIFTEE 2026 exam will be held on February 8 in 102 cities across India in both computer-based test (CBT) and pen-and-paper test (PBT) modes. Eligible candidates can submit their NIFTEE 2026 applications with a late fee of Rs 5,000.
The NIFTEE 2026 application correction window will be open from tomorrow, January 20, for two days. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their application form till January 21 through the official website.
This year, the NTA added two new exam cities for wider accessibility: Vapi in Gujarat and Daman in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Candidates who have already submitted applications can modify their city preferences during the correction window.
NIFTEE 2026 application fee
Application fees for the NIFTEE 2026 are set according to candidate category. General category candidates will have to pay Rs 3,000, while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and female candidates are required to pay Rs 750.
For the single-paper option, Open category, Other Backwards Classes–Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates must pay Rs 2,000, and SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates are required to pay Rs 500.
For undergraduate and postgraduate admissions, selection will be based on the General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT), followed by a situation test for UG programmes and a personal interview for PG programmes.
