NVS Recruitment 2024: Registration closes today for 1, 377 posts; selection process

NEW DELHI: The National Test Agency (NTA) will close the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) recruitment 2024 registration window today, May 7. Eligible and interested candidates can fill NVS recruitment 2024 application form 2024 by visiting the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NVS. The NVS recruitment drive 2024 aims to fill a total of 1,377 vacancies for non-teaching staff positions.
Candidates are required to pay the application fee to complete the NVS recruitment 2024 registration. Candidates from unreserved (UR), economically weaker section (EWS), other backward class (OBC) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 for all posts except female staff nurses. The application fee for the female nurse post is Rs 1,500.
The application fee for candidates belonging to scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), person with disability (PwD) is Rs 500 for all posts.
NVS Recruitment 2024: Selection process
The selection process for the legal assistant position involves written test and interview. However, for female staff nurse, assistant section officer, audit assistant, junior translation officer, computer operator, catering supervisor, lab attendant and multi-tasking staff positions, selection will solely be based on their performance in the competitive exam.
Candidates shortlisted for the posts of stenographer, junior secretariat assistant, junior secretariat assistant (JNV Cadre), electrician cum plumber and mess helper will undergo a skill test, which is only qualifying in nature and does not carry any weightage.

NVS Recruitment 2024: Exam pattern
The NVS recruitment 2024 written exam will have 120 questions in total. The paper will be divided into 4 sections - reasoning ability, general awareness, language competency, and subject knowledge. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes and there will be no sectional time limit. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The paper carries a total of 120 marks.
