OFSS Bihar Board Class 11 Admission 2025: The last date for institutions to log in to the OFSS portal and update the status of vacant or filled seats is August 1.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued the third selection list under the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) for admission to Class 11 for the academic session 2025-27. Students who have been allotted seats in this round will have to complete their admission process at the respective schools between July 28 and July 31, 2025.
The board has asked principals of the allotted schools to update the list of admitted students on the OFSS portal at ofssbihar.net. As per the schedule, the last date for institutions to log in to the OFSS portal and update the status of vacant or filled seats is August 1, 2025.
Once a student is admitted, the admission in-charge will have to log in to the OFSS portal using the institutional credentials and update the admission record. In case a school has not received its user ID or password, it should contact the district education officer. In case of any difficulty in the admission process, candidates can reach out to the helpline at 0612-2230009.
Higher cut-offs led to non-selection: BSEB
According to the board, some applicants could not be selected because the percentage of marks they secured did not meet the cut-off criteria of any of the institutions and stream combinations they had opted for during registration.
The board has also reminded institutions that students were charged a total of Rs 350 at the time of application — Rs 150 as an application processing fee and Rs 200 as an institution fee. The board will reimburse institutions Rs 200 per admitted student after completion of all three rounds of admission.
“Therefore, no institution is allowed to collect the application fee again from any student who has already paid it online. Only the admission fee and other applicable charges as per norms may be collected,” the notice said.
