UGC NET December 2024 registration ends tomorrow; application fee, important dates
Applicants can fill UGC NET application form 2024 on ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

NEW DELHI: Tomorrow is the last day to apply for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024. Aspirants can fill the UGC NET application form 2024 for the December session exam on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
UGC NET registration window will be active till 11:50 pm on December 10. Registered candidates will be able to make fee payment a day after the registration deadline, December 11. The application fee for the candidates belonging to the general category is Rs 1,150. General-EWS or OBC-NCL applicants will have to pay Rs 600, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Person with Disability (PwD), and transgender candidates will have to deposit Rs 325.
UGC NET 2024 Registration: Documents required
Candidates will be required to upload the following documents for UGC NET 2024 registration:
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Qualifying degree certificate
- Passport size identical photo
- Signature
- Valid photo Id
- Category certificate
- Caste certificate
NTA will open the UGC NET December 2024 application correction window from December 12 to December 13. Candidates who register successfully will be able to modify their personal details, academic qualification, exam city preferences and scanned photos during this period.
The UGC NET December 2024 will be held in a computer-based test (CBT) mode from January 1, 2025 to January 19, 2025 for 85 subjects. The scores will be used for awarding Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointing assistant professor in Indian universities and admissions to PhD programmes.
