UP Metro Rail Recruitment 2024: The last day to apply is April 19.
NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has commenced the registration process for the recruitment of various executive and non-executive posts including station controller-cum-train operator, junior engineer, maintainer and others. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these positions through the official website, lmrcl.com. The last date to apply for UP metro rail recruitment 2024 is April 19.
The recruitment drive 2024 aims to fill a total of 439 executive and non-executive posts in the UP Metro Rail Corporation. The selection process includes a written exam, document verification followed by a medical test. The UP metro rail recruitment exam 2024 will be held on May 11, 12, 14 and the admit card will be issued from April 30 onwards.
UP Metro Rail Recruitment 2024: Eligibility
Candidates can have a look at the UP mail rail recruitment eligibility criteria below.
- Candidates applying for executive positions must hold a BE, BTech, or relevant degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 60 percent marks.
- Candidates applying for non-executive positions are requited to hold a a three-year diploma from a recognized institution with at least 60 percent marks.
- The age of candidates applying for UP mail rail recruitment 2024 should be between 21 to 28 years.
UP Metro Rail Recruitment 2024: Application fee
Candidates are required to pay an application fee to complete their UP metro rail recruitment 2024 application process. Candidates belonging to Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories are required to pay an application fee Rs 1,180, whereas Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates are required to pay Rs 826.

UP Metro Rail Recruitment 2024: Exam pattern
The exam will be held online in computer-based mode. There will be a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. The question paper will have 5 sections- English language, general knowledge, quantitative aptitude, logical ability and questions related to discipline. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. The medium of the question paper will be English and Hindi. For every wrong answer, one-third of the marks will be deducted.
