UPSC vacancies for regular posts in government-run medical institutions out; registration begins

FORDA thanked the Union health ministry for taking a decision against the ad-hoc culture. The registration for direct recruitment will end on February 1.
NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the vacancies for regular medical posts in government-run medical institutions. The registration process for direct recruitment by selection has begun on the official website, upsconline.nic.in.
The notification comes after the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) had requested the Union health ministry to look into the UPSC vacancies. Following the announcement of the recruitment, FORDA thanked health minister Mansukh Mandaviya and UPSC officials and tweeted on X: “UPSC vacancies out! We thank @MoHFW_INDIA @mansukhmandviya and @upsc_official for the prompt redressal in our fight against rampant Ad-hoc culture.”
The last date to apply for various medical posts is February 1 and the deadline to print the completely filled online application form is February 2. The age limit for SC, ST has been relaxed up to 5 years and up to 3 years for OBC category. Candidates, except female, SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disability, will have to pay a fee of Rs 25.
