87 college students picked for Delhi CM Internship 2025; will earn Rs 20,000 for 3 months

Delhi CM Internship Programme 2025: Interns will be assigned to various government departments after undergoing three days of training.

A total of 87 students have been selected for the Viksit Delhi CM Internship Programme who will work with the government for a period of three months, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta wrote on her X account.

The interns will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 20,000 during the internship period. They will be assigned in the various departments of the Delhi government after 3 days of training, the PTI reported.

“During the internship programme, the students will understand administrative processes and also be able to provide their suggestions,” Delhi CM said.

Appraising the youth selected for the Delhi CM Internship programmes, Gupta said: “Heartiest congratulations to all the youth selected in the Developed Delhi CM Internship Programme. Today, at the Delhi Secretariat, internship appointment letters were distributed to these energetic and talented youth.”

Government committed to empower youth: Delhi CM

“This scheme is inspired by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji's PM Internship Scheme and is a new initiative to incorporate youth thinking into the governance system,” the tweet by the Delhi CM reads.

She also reiterated that the government is committed to empower the youth and connect them with the spirit of nation-building. The internship programme will begin from Monday for a tenure of three months.

The Delhi CM told PTI that there was complete transparency in the selection process. Earlier, these internships were done to satisfy an agenda and given financial benefits to only a few people, Gupta said.
